In October 2020, 3,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Salten Region (-67.5 %), of which 3,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 162 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 56 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 95 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 68 percent from last year's October.
83 nights (-94.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 340 nights (-83.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and October, 83,800 registered bed nights (-22.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 10,800 (-80.7 %) for foreigners in Salten Region, in total 94,600 (-42.1 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased 76 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 76 percent compared to earlier year. In Salten Region, length of stay in October was on average 3.5 nights and in Norway 2.1 nights (+14.4 %).
During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Salten Region on average 3.5 nights (+3.8 %) and foreigners 3.8 nights (+2.1 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 82 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.4 percent were domestic, and 4.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Salten Region on average 3.5 nights (+1.6) and foreigners 3.8 nights (+1.6).
