Registered bed nights increased 370 percent
In April 2021, 9,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Salten Region (+366.6 %), of which 9,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 390 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 420 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 40 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 370 percent from last year's April.
560 nights (+569.9 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,000 nights (+488.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 26,400 registered bed nights (+221.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,200 (+12.5 %) for foreigners in Salten Region, in total 27,600 (+196.9 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased 21 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 21 percent compared to earlier year. In Salten Region, length of stay in April was on average 4.1 nights and in Norway 2.8 nights (-3.0 %).
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Salten Region on average 4.0 nights (+36.1 %) and foreigners 5.0 nights (+99.4 %).
2,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 290 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.7 percent were domestic, and 3.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Salten Region on average 4.0 nights (+0.91) and foreigners 5.0 nights (-1.6).
