Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 240 percent

In April 2021, 13,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Sandefjord And Larvik (+234.8 %), of which 11,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 370 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 58 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 240 percent from last year's April.

3,800 nights (+104.7 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 5,400 nights (+312.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 43,200 registered bed nights (-17.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 10,000 (-31.0 %) for foreigners in Sandefjord And Larvik, in total 53,300 (-20.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 883,000 registered bed nights (+166.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 788,000 nights (+184.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 94,300 nights (+75.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sandefjord And Larvik out of total registered bed nights was 1.6 % (+0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.4 % and foreign bed nights 3.0 %.

Length of stay increased seven percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased seven percent compared to earlier year. In Sandefjord And Larvik, length of stay in April was on average 2.9 nights and in Norway 2.8 nights (-3.0 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sandefjord And Larvik on average 2.5 nights (+41.0 %) and foreigners 7.9 nights (+235.0 %).

4,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 210 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.6 percent were domestic, and 7.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sandefjord And Larvik on average 2.5 nights (+0.37) and foreigners 7.9 nights (+3.6).
