Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 480 percent

In April 2022, 80,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Sandefjord And Larvik (+480.9 %), of which 57,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 23,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 420 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 720 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 480 percent from last year's April.

59,400 nights (+1,442.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 7,600 nights (+41.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 109,000 registered bed nights (+153.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 33,400 (+233.2 %) for foreigners in Sandefjord And Larvik, in total 143,000 (+168.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.4 million registered bed nights (+166.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.9 million nights (+143.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 434,000 nights (+360.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sandefjord And Larvik out of total registered bed nights was 3.4 % (+1.9 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 3.0 % and foreign bed nights 5.3 %.

Length of stay increased seven percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased seven percent compared to earlier year. In Sandefjord And Larvik, length of stay in April was on average 3.1 nights and in Norway 2.1 nights (-24.2 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sandefjord And Larvik on average 2.9 nights (-1.5 %) and foreigners 3.5 nights (-64.2 %).

26,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 440 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 75.2 percent were domestic, and 24.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sandefjord And Larvik on average 2.9 nights (+0.43) and foreigners 3.5 nights (-4.3).
