In January 2021, 9,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Satakunta (-42.7 %), of which 8,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 920 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 38 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 67 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 43 percent from last year's January.
4,400 nights (-33.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 5,400 nights (-48.6 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay increased 15 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 15 percent compared to earlier year. In Satakunta, length of stay in January was on average 1.8 nights and in Finland 2.2 nights (+12.1 %).
During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Satakunta on average 1.7 nights and foreigners 4.0 nights .
5,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 50 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.7 percent were domestic, and 4.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Satakunta on average 1.7 nights (+0.26) and foreigners 4.0 nights (+1.2).
