Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 44 percent

In May 2021, 1,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Säter (+43.5 %), of which 1,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 45 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 40 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 800 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 44 percent from last year's May.

320 rooms (+585.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 123 rooms (+360.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 4,900 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 185 for foreigners in Säter, in total 5,100 registered nights.

Length of stay increased eight percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased eight percent compared to earlier year. In Säter, length of stay in May was on average 2.9 nights and in Sweden 2.3 nights (-5.3 %).

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Säter on average 3.0 nights and foreigners 2.4 nights .

590 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 33 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.8 percent were domestic, and 3.2 percent were from foreign countries.
