In June 2020, 25,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Savonlinna (-38.6 %), of which 25,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 230 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 19 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 98 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 39 percent from last year's June.
20,900 nights (-37.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 4,400 nights (-43.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 53,900 registered bed nights (-36.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 9,900 (-63.4 %) for foreigners in Savonlinna, in total 63,800 (-43.3 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.
