In March 2021, 10,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Seinäjoki Region (-17.0 %), of which 10,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 520 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 16 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 30 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 17 percent from last year's March.
7,000 nights (-0.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 3,600 nights (-37.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 29,300 registered bed nights (-44.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,600 (-54.2 %) for foreigners in Seinäjoki Region, in total 30,900 (-45.1 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 29 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.5 percent were domestic, and 1.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Seinäjoki Region on average 2.0 nights (+0.26) and foreigners 6.8 nights (+3.4).
