Setesdal: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
Registered bed nights increased 65 percent
In February 2022, 15,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Setesdal (+65.1 %), of which 11,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 32 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 1,600 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 65 percent from last year's February.
3,400 nights (+54.9 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 680 nights (+15.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and February, 16,500 registered bed nights (+18.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,800 (+1,171.2 %) for foreigners in Setesdal, in total 20,300 (+43.1 %) registered nights.

4,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 54 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 84.6 percent were domestic, and 15.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Setesdal on average 3.4 nights (-0.11) and foreigners 5.1 nights (+3.6).

Registered accommodation sales in February were 2.2 million crowns (+882,000).
Registered January-February sales were 2.9 million crowns and they increased 789,000 euro from the previous year.
