17,900 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 17,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Sigtuna (-78.5 %), of which 13,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 4,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 80 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 72 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 79 percent from last year's June.

6,800 rooms (-78.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 6,600 rooms (-74.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 192,000 registered bed nights (-50.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 44,400 (-38.7 %) for foreigners in Sigtuna, in total 236,000 (-48.2 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.5 percent

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sigtuna out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (-0.7 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 1.6 %.

11,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 82 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 76.8 percent were domestic, and 23.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sigtuna on average 1.6 nights (+0.24) and foreigners 1.6 nights (+0.2).
