16,200 registered bed nights

In May 2020, 16,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Simrishamn (-34.4 %), of which 15,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 420 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 29 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 82 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 34 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (137 nights).

3,100 rooms (-50.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 610 rooms (-59.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 32,400 registered bed nights (-29.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,700 (-63.9 %) for foreigners in Simrishamn, in total 34,200 (-32.8 %) registered nights.

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Simrishamn on average 2.0 nights (+9.8 %) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+3.6 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 43 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.5 percent were domestic, and 2.5 percent were from foreign countries.
