Registered bed nights increased 44 percent
In April 2021, 1,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Sjöbo (+44.1 %), of which 1,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 113 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 38 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 260 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 44 percent from last year's April.
230 rooms (+48.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 195 rooms (-6.8 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 3,700 registered bed nights (-8.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 370 (+16.1 %) for foreigners in Sjöbo, in total 4,100 (-6.3 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 64 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.7 percent were domestic, and 4.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sjöbo on average 2.3 nights (-0.33) and foreigners 3.6 nights (-4.1).
