Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 19 percent

In February 2023, 1,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Sjöbo (+18.8 %), of which 900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 173 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 184 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 19 percent from last year's February.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (55 nights).

260 rooms (+120.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 189 rooms (-21.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 2,000 registered bed nights (+45.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 300 (+173.9 %) for foreigners in Sjöbo, in total 2,300 (+54.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.5 million registered bed nights (+20.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.8 million nights (+17.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 756,000 nights (+32.3 %) by foreigners.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased nine percent compared to earlier year. In Sjöbo, length of stay in February was on average 2.2 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-5.0 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sjöbo on average 2.2 nights (-16.5 %) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-5.7 %).
