Paid bed nights

2,300 registered bed nights

In May 2020, 2,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Sjöbo (-27.0 %), of which 2,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 175 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 20 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 66 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 27 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (63 nights).

350 rooms (-46.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 220 rooms (-54.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 6,200 registered bed nights (-13.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 490 (-71.8 %) for foreigners in Sjöbo, in total 6,700 (-25.0 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased 36 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 36 percent compared to earlier year. In Sjöbo, length of stay in May was on average 2.6 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (+30.7 %).

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sjöbo on average 2.4 nights (+28.9 %) and foreigners 7.0 nights (+13.1 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 46 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.3 percent were domestic, and 2.7 percent were from foreign countries.
