Paid bed nights

2,100 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 2,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Sjöbo (-8.6 %), of which 1,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 13 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 31 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased nine percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (153 nights).

280 rooms (-34.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 370 rooms (-20.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 19,700 registered bed nights (-11.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,500 (-63.3 %) for foreigners in Sjöbo, in total 21,100 (-19.4 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased nine percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased nine percent compared to earlier year. In Sjöbo, length of stay in September was on average 1.9 nights and in Sweden 2.0 nights (+4.9 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sjöbo on average 1.8 nights (+20.2 %) and foreigners 3.0 nights (+7.0 %).

1,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 16 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.0 percent were domestic, and 9.0 percent were from foreign countries.
