Registered bed nights increased 78 percent
In April 2021, 250,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Skåne County (+77.9 %), of which 222,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 28,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 75 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 105 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 78 percent from last year's April.
Between January and April, 641,000 registered bed nights (-17.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 89,300 (-55.4 %) for foreigners in Skåne County, in total 730,000 (-24.9 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
