Registered bed nights increased six percent

In September 2020, 3,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Skurup (+5.6 %), of which 3,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 220 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 21 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 66 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased six percent from last year's September.

1,300 rooms (+24.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 620 rooms (+4.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 42,000 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,000 for foreigners in Skurup, in total 44,100 registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Skurup out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

3,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 22 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.7 percent were domestic, and 5.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Skurup on average 1.2 nights (-0.12) and foreigners 1.3 nights (-0.5).
