3,700 registered bed nights

In April 2021, 3,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Smedjebacken (-16.0 %), of which 3,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 60 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 14 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 61 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 16 percent from last year's April.

300 rooms (+50.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 67 rooms (-40.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 12,100 registered bed nights (-28.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 240 (-78.0 %) for foreigners in Smedjebacken, in total 12,300 (-31.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Smedjebacken out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased five percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.2 percent were domestic, and 0.8 percent were from foreign countries.
