Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 27 percent

In September 2020, 4,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Smedjebacken (+27.1 %), of which 4,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 340 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 37 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 30 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 27 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (149 nights).

770 rooms (+21.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 148 rooms (+51.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 69,400 registered bed nights (+23.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,800 (+19.3 %) for foreigners in Smedjebacken, in total 72,200 (+23.6 %) registered nights.
