Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased seven percent

In May 2021, 9,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Smedjebacken (+6.6 %), of which 8,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 130 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 10 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased seven percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Austria (53 nights).

380 rooms (+31.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 83 rooms (+53.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 20,900 registered bed nights (-16.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 370 (-70.1 %) for foreigners in Smedjebacken, in total 21,300 (-19.3 %) registered nights.
