Registered bed nights increased 310 percent

In December 2021, 1,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Söderköping (+308.7 %), of which 1,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 80 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 310 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 280 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 310 percent from last year's December.

660 rooms (+575.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 590 rooms (+1,161.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 102,000 registered bed nights (+13.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 10,000 (+270.9 %) for foreigners in Söderköping, in total 112,000 (+20.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.4 million registered bed nights (+85.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.8 million nights (+74.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 553,000 nights (+166.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Söderköping out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 550 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.4 percent were domestic, and 1.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Söderköping on average 1.1 nights (-0.69) and foreigners 3.0 nights (+0.34).
