71,200 registered bed nights

In April 2019, 71,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Södermanland County (-10.1 %), of which 63,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 7,900 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 11 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased one percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 10 percent from last year's April.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United Kingdom (740 nights).

16,700 rooms (-8.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 16,500 rooms (-26.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 221,000 registered bed nights (-4.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 26,500 (+10.1 %) for foreigners in Södermanland County, in total 248,000 (-3.2 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased two percent compared to earlier year. In Södermanland County, length of stay in April was on average 1.7 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+1.4 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Södermanland County on average 1.7 nights (+5.3 %) and foreigners 1.7 nights (-30.5 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased nine percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 88.9 percent were domestic, and 11.1 percent were from foreign countries.
