10,000 registered bed nights

In May 2020, 10,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Södertälje (-68.5 %), of which 8,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 64 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 83 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 69 percent from last year's May.

1,400 rooms (-81.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,300 rooms (-68.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 51,400 registered bed nights (-37.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 11,300 (-56.1 %) for foreigners in Södertälje, in total 62,700 (-41.7 %) registered nights.

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Södertälje on average 3.9 nights (+10.0 %) and foreigners 4.0 nights (+14.4 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 82 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 87.7 percent were domestic, and 12.3 percent were from foreign countries.
