13,200 registered bed nights

In November 2021, 13,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Sognefjord, of which 11,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,600 nights by foreigners.

2,200 nights were spend by leisure visitors and 6,000 nights by business visitors.

Between January and November, 411,000 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 93,900 for foreigners in Sognefjord, in total 505,000 registered nights.

Total of 2.0 million registered bed nights (+132.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.8 million nights (+133.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 247,000 nights (+123.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sognefjord out of total registered bed nights was 0.7 % (-0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.7 % and foreign bed nights 0.6 %.

6,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Of all registered arrivals, 86.2 percent were domestic, and 13.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sognefjord on average 2.2 nights and foreigners 1.8 nights.
