19,900 registered bed nights

In October 2021, 19,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Sognefjord, of which 16,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,800 nights by foreigners.

5,100 nights were spend by leisure visitors and 5,300 nights by business visitors.

Between January and October, 400,000 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 92,300 for foreigners in Sognefjord, in total 492,000 registered nights.

Total of 2.4 million registered bed nights (+57.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.1 million nights (+50.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 306,000 nights (+120.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sognefjord out of total registered bed nights was 0.8 % (-0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.8 % and foreign bed nights 1.2 %.

Of all registered arrivals, 82.2 percent were domestic, and 17.8 percent were from foreign countries.
