7,900 registered bed nights

In December 2021, 7,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Sognefjord, of which 6,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,700 nights by foreigners.

1,800 nights were spend by leisure visitors and 2,400 nights by business visitors.

Between January and December, 417,000 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 95,600 for foreigners in Sognefjord, in total 513,000 registered nights.

Total of 1.3 million registered bed nights (+49.3 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 980,000 nights (+31.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 271,000 nights (+196.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sognefjord out of total registered bed nights was 0.6 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.6 % and foreign bed nights 0.6 %.

3,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Of all registered arrivals, 71.4 percent were domestic, and 28.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sognefjord on average 2.8 nights and foreigners 1.9 nights.
