Registered bed nights increased 68 percent
In March 2022, 16,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Sognefjord (+68.2 %), of which 12,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 49 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 188 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 68 percent from last year's March.
3,300 nights (+172.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 5,800 nights (+52.8 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 30,600 registered bed nights (+63.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 8,700 (+79.2 %) for foreigners in Sognefjord, in total 39,400 (+67.0 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 32 percent compared to earlier year. In Sognefjord, length of stay in March was on average 2.5 nights and in Norway 2.1 nights (-23.5 %).
