6,700 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 6,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Sollefteå (-21.8 %), of which 6,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 340 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 19 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 51 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 22 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United Kingdom (118 nights).

1,600 rooms (+73.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,200 rooms (-44.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 82,400 registered bed nights (-9.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,600 (-75.7 %) for foreigners in Sollefteå, in total 86,000 (-18.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sollefteå out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

3,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 13 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.3 percent were domestic, and 5.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sollefteå on average 1.8 nights (-0.17) and foreigners 1.6 nights (-0.6).
