Registered bed nights increased 62 percent

In April 2021, 4,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Sollefteå (+61.5 %), of which 4,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 197 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 61 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 88 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 62 percent from last year's April.

1,100 rooms (+160.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,300 rooms (+26.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 19,200 registered bed nights (-10.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 800 (-39.9 %) for foreigners in Sollefteå, in total 20,000 (-12.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sollefteå out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

2,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 98 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.3 percent were domestic, and 3.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sollefteå on average 1.8 nights (-0.41) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-0.03).
