Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 82 percent

In April 2022, 9,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Sollefteå (+81.7 %), of which 8,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 780 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 73 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 300 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 82 percent from last year's April.

2,100 rooms (+99.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,500 rooms (+117.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 30,500 registered bed nights (+58.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,200 (+167.7 %) for foreigners in Sollefteå, in total 32,700 (+63.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.2 million registered bed nights (+64.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+46.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 791,000 nights (+260.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sollefteå out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay was 1.9 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 13 percent compared to earlier year. In Sollefteå, length of stay in April was on average 1.9 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-23.8 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sollefteå on average 1.8 nights (-3.8 %) and foreigners 3.7 nights (+10.2 %).

4,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 108 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.4 percent were domestic, and 4.6 percent were from foreign countries.
