Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 25 percent

In June 2022, 16,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Sollefteå (+24.9 %), of which 14,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 17 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 161 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 25 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (550 nights).

1,700 rooms (+15.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,000 rooms (+95.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 56,000 registered bed nights (+36.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,900 (+149.0 %) for foreigners in Sollefteå, in total 60,900 (+42.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 6.9 million registered bed nights (+39.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.2 million nights (+17.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.6 million nights (+259.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sollefteå out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay was 2.0 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 12 percent compared to earlier year. In Sollefteå, length of stay in June was on average 2.0 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-13.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sollefteå on average 2.0 nights (-9.2 %) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-7.7 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 42 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 87.8 percent were domestic, and 12.2 percent were from foreign countries.
