Registered bed nights increased 18 percent

In September 2021, 15,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Sollentuna (+17.5 %), of which 13,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 20 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased one percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 18 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Lithuania (370 nights).

2,200 rooms (+30.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 9,300 rooms (+20.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 90,200 registered bed nights (-4.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 14,500 (-32.7 %) for foreigners in Sollentuna, in total 105,000 (-9.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sollentuna out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

5,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 25 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.7 percent were domestic, and 6.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sollentuna on average 2.5 nights (-0.11) and foreigners 5.4 nights (-1.1).
