13,300 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 13,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Sollentuna (-44.5 %), of which 11,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 41 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 57 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 44 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from India (830 nights).

1,700 rooms (-49.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 7,700 rooms (-43.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 94,500 registered bed nights (-39.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 21,600 (-60.7 %) for foreigners in Sollentuna, in total 116,000 (-44.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sollentuna out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.4 %.

4,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 54 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.4 percent were domestic, and 6.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sollentuna on average 2.6 nights (+0.21) and foreigners 6.5 nights (+4.3).
