Registered bed nights increased 39 percent

In June 2019, 28,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Sollentuna (+38.7 %), of which 20,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 8,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 43 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 29 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 39 percent from last year's June.

4,600 rooms (+10.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 10,300 rooms (+42.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 93,700 registered bed nights (+18.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 30,100 (+45.8 %) for foreigners in Sollentuna, in total 124,000 (+24.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 7.1 million registered bed nights (+7.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.0 million nights (+8.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.1 million nights (+5.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sollentuna out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.4 %.

Length of stay increased 13 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 13 percent compared to earlier year. In Sollentuna, length of stay in June was on average 3.0 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+4.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sollentuna on average 3.2 nights (-6.0 %) and foreigners 2.6 nights (+20.3 %).

9,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 22 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 66.5 percent were domestic, and 33.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sollentuna on average 3.2 nights (+0.38) and foreigners 2.6 nights (+0.27).
