9,700 registered bed nights

In March 2021, 9,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Sollentuna (-24.6 %), of which 8,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 20 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 45 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 25 percent from last year's March.

2,400 rooms (+106.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 6,100 rooms (-22.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 21,900 registered bed nights (-41.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,500 (-62.8 %) for foreigners in Sollentuna, in total 25,400 (-46.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.9 million registered bed nights (+2.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (+11.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (-46.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sollentuna out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.6 %.

Length of stay increased 12 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 12 percent compared to earlier year. In Sollentuna, length of stay in March was on average 4.3 nights and in Sweden 3.2 nights (+21.8 %).

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sollentuna on average 3.9 nights (+32.5 %) and foreigners 8.9 nights (+48.1 %).

2,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 33 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.9 percent were domestic, and 6.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sollentuna on average 3.9 nights (+0.51) and foreigners 8.9 nights (+1.9).
