Registered bed nights increased 16 percent
In January 2022, 23,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Solna (+15.7 %), of which 17,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 5,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 30 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 13 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 16 percent from last year's January.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United States (980 nights).
7,500 rooms (+40.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 8,300 rooms (-7.7 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 18 percent compared to earlier year. In Solna, length of stay in January was on average 2.1 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (-36.1 %).
