2,500 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 2,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Sorsele (-49.7 %), of which 2,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 480 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 28 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 78 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 50 percent from last year's June.

119 rooms (-75.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 320 rooms (-50.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 15,300 registered bed nights (-10.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,600 (-34.5 %) for foreigners in Sorsele, in total 18,900 (-16.7 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.1 percent

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sorsele out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

920 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 62 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 84.8 percent were domestic, and 15.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sorsele on average 2.6 nights (+0.47) and foreigners 3.5 nights (+1.5).
