2,900 registered bed nights

In April 2020, 2,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Sorsele (-30.9 %), of which 2,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 35 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 27 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 86 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 31 percent from last year's April.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Spain (28 nights).

55 rooms (-85.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 169 rooms (-60.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 12,600 registered bed nights (-7.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,100 (+3.9 %) for foreigners in Sorsele, in total 15,700 (-5.5 %) registered nights.

The market share of Sorsele out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

890 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 39 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.3 percent were domestic, and 0.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sorsele on average 3.2 nights (+0.37) and foreigners 5.8 nights (+2.5).
