In November 2022, 45,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Sotkamo (-1.5 %), of which 41,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 4,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased four percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 31 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased two percent from last year's November.

40,500 nights (-5.6 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 5,200 nights (+47.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 654,000 registered bed nights (-3.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 27,600 (+58.2 %) for foreigners in Sotkamo, in total 682,000 (-1.5 %) registered nights.

Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.
