Registered bed nights increased 42 percent
In May 2021, 6,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Stenungsund (+42.4 %), of which 6,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 193 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 44 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased seven percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 42 percent from last year's May.
2,100 rooms (+53.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 810 rooms (+28.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 17,500 registered bed nights (-20.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 810 (-43.2 %) for foreigners in Stenungsund, in total 18,300 (-22.3 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased four percent compared to earlier year. In Stenungsund, length of stay in May was on average 1.6 nights and in Sweden 2.3 nights (-5.3 %).
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Stenungsund on average 1.6 nights (+39.2 %) and foreigners 2.3 nights (+36.8 %).
