339,000 registered bed nights
In September 2020, 339,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Stockholm (-61.6 %), of which 257,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 82,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 49 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 78 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 62 percent from last year's September.
124,000 rooms (-56.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 96,000 rooms (-68.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and September, 2.1 million registered bed nights (-51.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 905,000 (-74.8 %) for foreigners in Stockholm, in total 3.0 million (-62.1 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

164,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 64 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 81.7 percent were domestic, and 18.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Stockholm on average 1.9 nights (+0.16) and foreigners 2.8 nights (+0.54).
210,000 air travelers
The airport received a total of 210,000 passengers, which means air passenger arrivals decreased 83 percent.
Of local passengers, 64.3 % arrived from abroad, thus the share of domestic passengers was 35.7 %.
In addition, there were 211,000 passengers departing the airport (-83.5 %), therefore the total number of trips via the airport was 421,000 (-83.4 %).

Registered January-September sales were 2.0 billion SEK and they decreased 4.6 billion euro from the previous year.
