417,000 registered bed nights
In October 2020, 417,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Stockholm (-53.1 %), of which 312,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 104,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 44 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 69 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 53 percent from last year's October.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United Kingdom (12,800 nights).
149,000 rooms (-47.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 106,000 rooms (-64.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and October, 2.4 million registered bed nights (-50.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1.0 million (-74.3 %) for foreigners in Stockholm, in total 3.4 million (-61.2 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 59 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 81.4 percent were domestic, and 18.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Stockholm on average 1.9 nights (+0.25) and foreigners 2.8 nights (+0.66).
240,000 air travelers
The airport received a total of 240,000 passengers, which means air passenger arrivals decreased 80 percent.
Of local passengers, 64.0 % arrived from abroad, thus the share of domestic passengers was 36.0 %.
In addition, there were 245,000 passengers departing the airport (-80.5 %), therefore the total number of trips via the airport was 486,000 (-80.2 %).

Registered January-October sales were 2.3 billion crowns and they decreased 5.1 billion crowns from the previous year.

The number of domestic visitors in October was 483,000 (-49.5 %). Out of them 186,000 were on a daytrip and 297,000 stayed at least for one night.
The cumulative number of domestic visitors between January and October was 4.3 million (-53.0 %).
Total consumption of these visitors in Stockholm in October was 955.6 million crowns (1,980 per visitor). Overnight visitors spent 775.9 million crowns and day visitors 179.8 million crowns. Between January and October the consumption was 9.7 billion crowns.
