Registered bed nights increased 14 percent
In September 2021, 6,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Storuman (+14.3 %), of which 5,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased five percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 103 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 14 percent from last year's September.
1,300 rooms (+23.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,700 rooms (+29.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and September, 56,200 registered bed nights (-0.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 14,200 (+13.7 %) for foreigners in Storuman, in total 70,500 (+2.2 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 13 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 76.1 percent were domestic, and 23.9 percent were from foreign countries.
During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Storuman on average 2.6 nights (+0.13) and foreigners 1.8 nights (+0.02).
