Registered bed nights increased 110 percent
In April 2021, 7,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Storuman (+110.0 %), of which 7,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 270 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 111 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 90 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 110 percent from last year's April.
2,500 rooms (+269.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 660 rooms (+32.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 19,200 registered bed nights (-22.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,000 (-81.6 %) for foreigners in Storuman, in total 21,200 (-40.0 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 72 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.8 percent were domestic, and 3.2 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Storuman on average 3.3 nights (+0.64) and foreigners 3.9 nights (-1.3).
