Paid bed nights

4,900 registered bed nights

In November 2019, 4,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Storuman (-35.4 %), of which 2,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 49 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased seven percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 35 percent from last year's November.

480 rooms (-50.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 880 rooms (-40.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 86,500 registered bed nights (-14.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 48,900 (-5.6 %) for foreigners in Storuman, in total 135,000 (-11.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.6 million registered bed nights (+3.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.9 million nights (+5.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 731,000 nights (-6.7 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Storuman out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

Length of stay was 2.8 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 23 percent compared to earlier year. In Storuman, length of stay in November was on average 2.8 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (+0.6 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Storuman on average 2.8 nights (-10.6 %) and foreigners 2.8 nights (-1.6 %).

1,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 16 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 60.3 percent were domestic, and 39.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Storuman on average 2.8 nights (-1.1) and foreigners 2.8 nights (-0.2).
