Registered bed nights increased 17 percent
In May 2021, 3,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Storuman (+16.6 %), of which 2,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 580 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased one percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 720 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 17 percent from last year's May.
440 rooms (+57.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 800 rooms (+34.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 22,000 registered bed nights (-19.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,500 (-76.3 %) for foreigners in Storuman, in total 24,500 (-35.8 %) registered nights.
