Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 22 percent

In March 2019, 5,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Strömsund (+22.3 %), of which 4,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 35 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased seven percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 22 percent from last year's March.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (770 nights).

580 rooms (+73.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,000 rooms (+19.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 9,900 registered bed nights (+20.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,800 (-9.1 %) for foreigners in Strömsund, in total 13,800 (+10.4 %) registered nights.
