Registered bed nights increased 64 percent

In April 2021, 5,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Sunne (+64.1 %), of which 4,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 94 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 68 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 28 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 64 percent from last year's April.

1,600 rooms (+31.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 600 rooms (+42.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 24,300 registered bed nights (-1.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 430 (-85.7 %) for foreigners in Sunne, in total 24,700 (-10.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Sunne out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

3,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 136 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.1 percent were domestic, and 0.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sunne on average 1.5 nights (-0.62) and foreigners 3.2 nights (-2.4).
