Registered bed nights increased 28 percent
In August 2022, 36,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Sunne (+27.6 %), of which 19,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 17,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 119 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 28 percent from last year's August.
6,000 rooms (-7.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,700 rooms (+63.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 100,000 registered bed nights (+4.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 73,400 (+325.2 %) for foreigners in Sunne, in total 174,000 (+53.1 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 23 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 63.9 percent were domestic, and 36.1 percent were from foreign countries.
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sunne on average 1.7 nights (-0.12) and foreigners 2.7 nights (+0.06).
