32,200 registered bed nights

In August 2019, 32,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Sunne (-8.4 %), of which 16,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 16,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 16 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased one percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased eight percent from last year's August.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (11,400 nights).

6,300 rooms (+8.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,600 rooms (-22.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and August, 92,400 registered bed nights (-14.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 74,100 (+2.6 %) for foreigners in Sunne, in total 167,000 (-7.8 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 11 percent compared to earlier year. In Sunne, length of stay in August was on average 1.9 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (+0.4 %).

During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sunne on average 1.6 nights (-7.7 %) and foreigners 2.3 nights (-8.0 %).
