Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 36 percent

In March 2021, 7,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Sunne (+36.0 %), of which 7,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 101 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 42 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 67 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 36 percent from last year's March.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (33 nights).

2,400 rooms (+16.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 660 rooms (-30.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 19,400 registered bed nights (-10.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 340 (-88.3 %) for foreigners in Sunne, in total 19,700 (-19.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.9 million registered bed nights (+2.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (+11.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (-46.3 %) by foreigners.

Length of stay increased one percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased one percent compared to earlier year. In Sunne, length of stay in March was on average 1.9 nights and in Sweden 3.2 nights (+21.8 %).

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Sunne on average 1.9 nights (-12.2 %) and foreigners 3.6 nights (-2.6 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 34 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.3 percent were domestic, and 0.7 percent were from foreign countries.
