Registered bed nights increased 40 percent

In April 2021, 1,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Svenljunga (+40.4 %), of which 1,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 10 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 41 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 33 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 40 percent from last year's April.

141 rooms (+177.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 43 rooms (-64.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 2,500 registered bed nights (+9.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 59 (-68.4 %) for foreigners in Svenljunga, in total 2,500 (+3.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Svenljunga out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

680 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 45 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.6 percent were domestic, and 0.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Svenljunga on average 2.6 nights (-0.08) and foreigners 3.3 nights (+0.33).
