Registered bed nights increased 27 percent

In September 2021, 2,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Svenljunga (+26.9 %), of which 2,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 162 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 26 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 45 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 27 percent from last year's September.

240 rooms (+38.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 64 rooms (-47.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 34,800 registered bed nights (+12.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,600 (+100.9 %) for foreigners in Svenljunga, in total 36,400 (+14.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Svenljunga out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 24 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.3 percent were domestic, and 4.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Svenljunga on average 1.9 nights (+0.04) and foreigners 2.4 nights (+0.18).
