Registered bed nights increased 15 percent

In September 2020, 2,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Svenljunga (+15.3 %), of which 2,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 112 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 22 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 45 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 15 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (42 nights).

171 rooms (-23.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 123 rooms (-34.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 31,100 registered bed nights (-0.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 780 (-89.2 %) for foreigners in Svenljunga, in total 31,900 (-16.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Svenljunga out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 38 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.7 percent were domestic, and 4.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Svenljunga on average 1.9 nights (-0.45) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+0.37).
