Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 10 percent

In June 2019, 5,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Svenljunga (+10.3 %), of which 4,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 920 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased eight percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 24 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 10 percent from last year's June.

330 rooms (+55.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 114 rooms (-21.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 11,100 registered bed nights (+16.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,700 (-2.4 %) for foreigners in Svenljunga, in total 12,900 (+13.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 7.1 million registered bed nights (+7.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.0 million nights (+8.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.1 million nights (+5.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Svenljunga out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay increased 17 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 17 percent compared to earlier year. In Svenljunga, length of stay in June was on average 2.6 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+4.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Svenljunga on average 2.7 nights (+9.5 %) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-3.4 %).

2,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased five percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 78.6 percent were domestic, and 21.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Svenljunga on average 2.7 nights (+0.48) and foreigners 1.9 nights (+0.01).
