Täby: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
Registered bed nights increased 48 percent
In May 2022, 14,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Täby (+48.4 %), of which 12,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 39 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 260 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 48 percent from last year's May.
2,100 rooms (-2.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 6,900 rooms (+122.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 39,300 registered bed nights (+18.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,700 (+376.2 %) for foreigners in Täby, in total 44,900 (+31.3 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 112 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.9 percent were domestic, and 6.1 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Täby on average 2.5 nights (-1.2) and foreigners 4.3 nights (+0.36).
