9,600 registered bed nights
In March 2020, 9,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Tahko (-50.1 %), of which 8,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 940 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 47 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 68 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 50 percent from last year's March.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Russia (830 nights).
7,300 nights (-56.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,300 nights (-15.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 34,500 registered bed nights (-20.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 7,700 (-21.6 %) for foreigners in Tahko, in total 42,200 (-20.8 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay was 2.7 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased two percent compared to earlier year. In Tahko, length of stay in March was on average 2.7 nights and in Finland 2.3 nights (+14.6 %).
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tahko on average 2.6 nights (+0.6 %) and foreigners 3.8 nights (-3.0 %).
3,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 49 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.1 percent were domestic, and 6.9 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tahko on average 2.6 nights (+0.02) and foreigners 3.8 nights (-0.37).
